Congratulations to the Sharon Weiss Gallery, celebrating 15 years of success in January 2009.
The Sharon Weiss Gallery opened on Poplar Street in the Short North in 1994 and moved to its present location on Lincoln Street in the Short North eight years ago. The goal of the gallery has remained constant for thirteen years - to give passionate artists a place to exhibit and provide an inviting gallery space, where the community can become passionate about the artists and the art they create.
The gallery prides itself in exhibiting historic and contemporary original paintings, prints, and sculptures by primarily Ohio artists working in many different mediums. The majority of the exhibiting artists are available to meet customers making the process of purchasing art a personal experience. The first Saturday of every month, during Gallery Hop, artists paint and sculpt onsite.
Since 1994, Sharon Weiss Gallery has shown art alongside antique furniture and antique accessories. The hope is to demonstrate how splendid paintings and sculptures work together with interior and exterior furnishings. New art and antiques are acquired every week.
The Sharon Weiss Gallery looks forward to many more years of sharing art and artists with the Columbus community.
